Paul Burrell reveals letters from Princess Diana “prophesied her own death”

The former butler said: “I have never shown them before and I’m a bit reluctant to show them to you now because they’re my little personal treasures and it’s her thoughts to me.”

In an exclusive Sunday Night interview with Melissa Doyle, Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell has showcased original letters from the late Princess Diana, that were reportedly written nine months before she died.

“I have never shown them before and I’m a bit reluctant to show them to you now because they’re my little personal treasures and it’s her thoughts to me,” Mr Burrell said.

The content of one of the letters is particularly disturbing as it predicts a car accident staged by Prince Charles.

“This particular phase in my life is the most dangerous; my husband is planning an accident in my car, brake failure and serious head injury in order to make the path clear for him to marry,” Princess Diana allegedly wrote in 1996.

The letter in question was featured on Sunday Night.

“This particular letter is rather poignant because it is rather spooky thinking that she saw and prophesied her own death,” Mr Burrell said.

Since Diana’s death in 1997, Paul has muddied his ties with the Royal Family after doing several explosive interviews about the late Princess.

In 2002, he was charged with theft over Princess Diana’s property but the case was dropped.

He served her at Kensington Palace throughout the 1980s and 1990s.

The explosive new claims come just days after British newspaper The Sun reported Paul Burrell has come out and plans to marry his partner Graham next month.

“I can confirm their forthcoming marriage,” a spokesperson for Burrell explained to The Sun.

According to the paper, the 57-year-old, who works as a florist in Cheshire, will wed 58-year-old Graham in April.

Princess Diana’s friend Rosa Monckton and former lover James Hewitt also featured on Sunday Night with Hewitt shutting down the wild claim he’s Prince Harry’s father.

Rosa Monckton says the Princess helped her bury her stillborn daughter on the grounds of Kensington Palace.

The interviews were conducted ahead of the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s tragic death.
