Katie Price isn’t new to being thrown into a cloud of controversy, but it’s her latest Instagram upload that has officially divided her 1.6million-strong following.

Posting a picture of her 10-year-old daughter, Princess, wearing make-up, the mother-of-five received a mix of both criticism and praise.

One fan wrote: “Poor child”. Another added: “Do we really need make-up on kids to appear older?”

However, others were quick to jump to the 39-year-old’s defence, stating: “What a beautiful child… I am sure you are a proud momma.”

“To those who have put up negative comments, SHAME on you . Positivity should ALWAYS be used with children. It’s YOUR negative comments that cause stress!”

And the praise didn’t stop there.

“Anybody would be proud to have such a beautiful little girl,” someone wrote. “Well done Katie for bringing up such stunning and intellectual children.”

This comes just one month after Katie admitted that she has considered hiring a prostitute for her disabled son, Harvey.

As previously reported by Woman’s Day, Katie opened up on “Harvey is 15 now. Naturally at 15 you go through puberty and it’s natural to experiment with yourself… Is it fair for him to experience it?”

Harvey – whose dad is Katie’s ex, former soccer star Dwight Yorke – suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, a rare genetic condition that causes impaired intellectual development, limited physical mobility and obesity among other symptoms.

The teenager is also on the autism spectrum and suffers from a condition known as septo-optic dysplasia, which affects the development of his optic nerve.
