Qld police find body of missing mum Hannah Cook

The search for a young Queensland mum has ended in tragedy.

News.com.au reports police have found the body of Hannah Cook, 25, who went missing Monday morning after dropping her child off at school.

Ms Cook’s abandoned vehicle was earlier found by police, around 30km west of her hometown of Calliope, near Gladstone.

The body was discovered near Catfish Creek and the woman’s family has been notified, according to the Gladstone Observer.

They also reported police and Ms Cook’s family were earlier “concerned” for her safety as she has a medical condition.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
