Smitten mum Sally Obermeder shares first video of her daughter

The smile on her face says it all - Sally Obermeder is on cloud nine after welcoming her second daughter via a surrogate in the US.

The Daily Edition host welcomed a healthy baby girl in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Tuesday and it seems her little girl is fitting right into the family fold.

Sharing a sweet video on her Instagram account, Sally and her oldest daughter Annabelle, five, cuddle and kiss Elyssa Rose.

“Indescribable joy and gratitude,” an elated Sally captioned the touching footage.

Meanwhile the 43-year-old’s colleagues and close friends have reached out to congratulate Sally and her husband Marcus on the new addition.

“It’s a girl! So delighted for my beautiful friend @sallyobermeder (& Marcus & Annabelle!) …FINALLY Elyssa Rose Obermeder made it out to join us.

For the past few weeks, the star has been based in the US awaiting the arrival of her second daughter via a surrogate called Rachel.

Rachel and Sally have formed a close bond during their surrogacy journey.

After the journalist conquered breast cancer through intensive chemotherapy, she and Marcus turned to surrogacy for their second child.

Earlier this year, Sally confirmed her exciting news with a family pic which featured Annabelle holding a sign that said “I’m going to be a big sister.”

“Thrilled to bits to share that @marcusobermeder and I are adding to our family thanks to the most incredible surrogate,” Sally said at the time.
