Pippa Middleton’s soon-to-be brother-in-law has signed on for VERY risky reality show

Yikes! It seems the ex-reality TV star has a hankering for the spotlight once again.
Pippa Middleton, Spencer Matthews

The younger sister of Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, Pippa Middleton, is set to be wed her fiancé James Matthews at St Marks’ Church on May 20 of this year. And on the guest list will be the 41-year-old groom’s younger brother, Spencer Matthews.

But Spencer must first survive the riskiest reality show on British TV before he can attend his older brother’s marriage to 33-year-old Pippa.

And we’re guessing his experience on the reality TV show Made in Chelsea will be no help!

Pippa Middleton and James Matthews impending nuptials

We wonder if Pippa’s soon-to-be husband James (L) has the same risk-taking tendencies?

According to PEOPLE, the 27-year-old is currently training for the extreme winter sports show The Jump which takes place in Innsbruck, Austria. The show, which runs for a total of six weeks, will begin on February 5 and we have no doubt the whole Middleton-clan will be tuning in for the premiere.

The show follows a range of celebrity contestants as they try to master a series of incredibly risky winter sports including skeleton, bobsleigh, snowskates, ski cross, and giant slalom – even the names sound daunting!

In a spine tingling twist, those at the bottom of the leader board as well as any celebrity who failed to master the weeks chosen sport will have to fight for survival by performing a terrifying ski-jump on live TV.

The celebrity who achieves the shortest distance is eliminated – if they even land, that is.

The alarmingly risky show has aired on three previous occasions and according to a statement, has only been allowed back onto Channel 4 following a “thorough review of safety standards.”

The daredevil in question!

Last year, seven contestants appearing on The Jump were in need of hospital treatment after various accidents. The show’s list of injuries includes everything from fractured vertebrae to dislocated shoulders and even broken ankles.

All we can say is: best of luck!
