Meet Lady Amelia Windsor, the 22-year-old woman dubbed “the most beautiful royal.” Lady Amelia is the granddaughter of the Queen’s cousin, the Duke of Kent and sits 36th in line for the throne.
Perhaps you’re wondering why you’ve never noticed the royal beauty before. This would be due to the fact that, until recently, Lady Amelia had kept a reasonably low profile.
The young royal stepped into the spotlight by gracing the April cover of the British high society magazine, Tatler, where she was named by the publication as “the most beautiful member of the royal family.”
The last time a member of the royal family appeared on the cover of Tatler magazine was 2008, when Princess Eugenie was photographed to mark the momentous occasion of her 18th birthday.
Since her editorial debut, Lady Amelia has been doing the social rounds at high-profile fashion events; she’s even walked a few runaways herself. The former French and Italian student at the prestigious University of Edinburgh, has dabbled with modelling and is signed to Storm Models, the agency which represents icons Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.

Recently the royal put on a daring display in a custom Dior sheer lace gown on the British Fashion Awards prestigious red carpet. The revealing black dress was embellished with gold and silver embroidery resembling constellations.
This isn’t the first time the young royal rocked an on-trend ‘naked dress’. Early this year she attended Christian Dior’s Spring/Summer 2018 show at Paris Fashion Week, while wearing a see-through white Dior gown that displayed her bare skin and white underwear beneath.
The young royal endeavours to have a career in the fashion industry. Take one look at her Instagram account and you’ll instantly notice Amelia’s affinity to fashion. Arty photos capture a fashion-conscious millennial with an interest in culture and travel.
While Lady Ameila's social snaps reveal her artistic side, and luxurious lifestyle, the young Windsor isn't afraid of hard work - she recently embarked on a coveted internship with Chanel in Paris.
Speaking of her time spent with the iconic label, Amelia said, "It was one of the best experiences I've ever had. To see how much goes into making a fashion business is quite exciting."
In an interview with Miss Vogue, she revealed her plans to spend a year studying abroad in the French capital and Rome, two cities iconic for their style influence.
"I would love to make a contribution to any aspect behind the creative process," she said. "On my year abroad, I want to really further my understanding of every aspect of a fashion house: from the making of the fabrics to the production of a catwalk show."
Before Tatler introduced her to the world, the stunning Amelia made her introduction into the elite social circles of Europe at the 2013 Debutantes Ball in Paris.
At the exclusive event, she wore an embellished silver Elie Saab gown and diamond earrings.
