National Indigenous Television, better known as NITV has been bringing Australians the best of Indigenous programs since 2007.

Made by and made for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, NITV has some of the best up and coming shows as well as long-standing favourites, proudly making it “a channel for all Australians”.

Picked up by SBS in 2012, we’re luckily enough to have easy and free access, thanks to SBS OnDemand, to all the best programs which reflect a rich diversity of cultures, languages and talent.

The award-winning film follows Molly Johnson’s whose husband is away droving sheep, leaving her alone with their four children in the remote Snowy Mountains. Despite being heavily pregnant, Molly keeps danger away until she is confronted by Yadaka, an Aboriginal man on the run from white law enforcement, exposing brutal hardships and secrets.
