Karl Stefanovic has reportedly split from his wife of 21 years, Cassandra Thorburn according to reports.

The TV host is said to have moved out of the home he shared with Cass and his three children in recent weeks.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Karl is staying at the Bondi apartment of his friend James Packer.

Friends close to the long-time couple are said to be “stunned” by the shock separation.

Karl is apparently holed up in billionaire pal James’ lavish Bondi apartment.

Cass and Karl have been together 21 years and have three children.

But things aren’t necessarily 100 per cent finished yet, with sources saying the pair are “trying to work their marriage out”.

Karl and Cass are parents to three children, 16-year-old Jackson, 11-year-old Ava and 10-year-old River.

No doubt Karl will be throwing himself into work with sister-in-law-to-be Syliva Jeffreys and Lisa Wilkinson.

The 40-year-old recently revealed his wife gave up a really good job at the ABC to look after their children.

“She gave up a promising career at the ABC and I’m forever grateful and tremendously appreciative of that,” Karl confessed in 2015.

“Cass wanted to be at home and wants to be there now, and we’re very lucky to be in the financial position to do that.”
