Former Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise star Tara Pavlovic is officially a mum!
The much-loved reality star and her husband, Nick Shepherdson, have welcomed their first child into the world – a baby boy – on Friday April 30, who they have given the sweet moniker Paddy George Shepherdson.
“Welcome to the world Paddy George Shepherdson 🖤Words can’t describe how beyond in love we are with you. We are so grateful that you arrived happy and healthy and we will love and protect you forever,” Tara penned on Sunday, alongside a precious snap of her cherubic new bub.
“ So obsessed. I can’t stop crying every time I look at him,” the besotted mum later confessed.
Meanwhile proud dad Nick also shared his delight at becoming a father.
“Paddy George Shepherdson. He arrived Friday afternoon, both Tara and Paddy are doing great, such an amazing experience I am so so proud of @tarapavlovic. We couldn’t be happier, can’t wait to get him home,” Nick mused, alongside a series of photos of the newborn.
But perhaps the most powerful one was that of the moment Tara gave birth to Paddy.
In the incredible photo, Tara can be seen crying tears of joy as her son is placed onto her chest for the first time as a teary Nick watches on.
The raw and real snap quickly garnered attention from friends and fans alike with I’m A Celeb star Lauren Brant commenting: “Omg that last photo is amazing!”
“Could not agree more and that photo captures those first feels so well. Congrats ❤️,” another fan agreed.

She gushed about how excited she is to become a mother and that the couple already knew they were expecting before their September 2020 wedding. She also joked about being nervous about the dreaded teen years.
“Well, at least one of us was able to enjoy some celebration drinks on our honeymoon…
“Nick and I are so excited to finally share that we are expecting a little baby BOY in May 2021. We are both so grateful and we just can’t wait to meet the little fella.
“Not going to lie, if he is anything like Nick, I am already worried about his teenage years,” she added.

The reality star posted a video onto her Instagram from the day and captioned it, “25th of September, 2020. The day I married my best friend.”
At first glance, you’d be mistaken for thinking this was your run-of-the-mill wedding but the couple added many of their own unique touches – including serving their guests a decadent platter of McDonald’s finest foods from cheeseburgers, nuggets and sweet and sour sauce.
