They call themselves the Fresh Food People, and we guess this, er, proves it.
Jessica Neumann spotted a live snail making its way through the lettuce produce at a Woolworths in Brown Plains, a suburb close to Brisbane.
She snapped a pic of the slug and posted it to the Woolworths Facebook page with the caption: ‘Woolworths. The fresh food people.’
“I actually thought that their produce would at least be washed to prevent this sort of thing from happening,” she told Daily Mail.
“It was really pretty foul.”
Jessica said she was put off by the incident and immediately went to a fruit store instead.
