Having a sick child is every parent’s worst nightmare.
And for cricketing legend Michael Clarke and wife Kyly Clarke, over the weekend they were faced with the confronting reality of having to rush their two-year-old daughter Kelsey Lee to hospital after she was struck down with an illness.
Taking to Instagram, the former Australian cricket captain shared a video of his daughter in what looked like an emergency room with concerned mum Kyly by her side.
“My little girl is still not doing well,” Michael Clarke revealed alongside the short clip, which was posted on Sunday.
Thankfully, by Monday Kelsey Lee was back in the comfort of her own home and looking to be on the mend.

Neither Michael or Kyly Clarke have specified exactly what was wrong with their daughter.
“My 😇 is on the mend. Back 🏠 on the 🛋 😘,” 37-year-old Michael penned alongside a sweet shot of his daughter cuddling him on the couch.
The angelic tot’s latest bout of ill health comes nine months after another scary hospital dash in February, when she was taken to hospital for a mystery illness.
“It’s not all rainbows and butterflies. One very sick little girl and one very worried Mumma. Fortunately all is 👍,” Michael said at the time.
“I think the hard thing is when you see your children sick. We’ve got it easy compared to families who have children in a worse position,” Kyly reflected to Nine Honey of their first hospital dash.
Kyly and Michael, who tied the knot in 2012, became first-time parents when they welcomed Kelsey Lee in November 2015.

The 37-year-old lifestyle guru has previously admitted that she and Michael would love Kelsey to have a sibling.
“If we were to have another child, and they were anything like my daughter, we’re blessed. She is a little gem and I think it would be really lovely,” Kyly said on The Morning Show last year.
Adding, “I have got siblings and so does Michael, I am sure we would hope to have another child, but it is all in the timing.”
