The Block is back for another season and, while you wouldn’t think a renovation show would house a lot of scandal (no pun intended), the drama is certainly already under way.

Last year, it was the cheating scandal that rocked Blockheads.

But this time around, it was Joel and Elle’s sudden and mysterious departure a few days into filming that sent shockwaves through the reality TV community.

The pair managed to squeeze in one room reveal before packing their bags – but there have been plenty of other room transformations to keep fans occupied, as well as remind us that the show is about renovation and not drama (entertaining, though it may be).
