A source close to the Prince told People that Harry recently broke up with the 25-year-old after two years together.
“He found her too needy and it just wasn’t working out,” the source told People.
But an unnamed friend quashed those rumours, telling the Daily Mail that the separation was “very amicable”.
“Unfortunately it is true, they have split up. But this suggestion that the prince supposedly ‘dumped’ Cressida because she was ‘too needy’ is so wide of the mark,” the source said.
“It is a very amicable split and they are still very much the best of friends. They have just decided to go their separate ways.”
The reported split comes only a month after Cressida attended an official engagement with the Prince for the first time. There was speculation that the pair weren’t far off from walking down the aisle.
