Whenever Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge steps out in a pastel, fitted-yet-flared number, it’s easy to assume the outfit is the work of her favourite New-Zealand born and London-based fashion designer, Emilia Wickstead.

Opening her business at the young age of 24 with just £5,000, Wickstead’s attention-to-detail and modern spin when it comes to high-society formal fashion has made the creative one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s most treasured designers, particularly for her high-profile appearances.

While not opting to don the London local’s pieces quite as often as her sister-in-law, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has on occasion elegantly sported her designs.

Here are some of the duchesses’ most notable Emilia Wickstead dresses.
