Zara & Mike Tindall's down-to-earth family life is clearer than ever in these refreshing pics

Giving new meaning to being relatable royals.

By Jess Pullar
Zara Tindall was born into one of the world's most prolific, elite families, but if you didn't know her by name, you'd barely guess that was the case.
There's no mistaking the daughter of Princess Anne, the Queen's second eldest child. She's has grown up in the spotlight as her famous family continue to draw eyeballs the world over no matter which way they move.
But her life, for the most part, has been a little different to her closest relatives (we're looking at you William and Harry), in that she's forged her own path outside of the regal fold.
As an Olympic equestrian with a little flair and sass (well, as sassy as a royal can get), Zara, now 39 years old, has made a name for herself, by herself, and we can't help but love her even more for it.
After marrying Mike Tindall in 2011, not long after Wills and Kate's global spectacle, the royal and her former rugby player husband have built a family life not unlike the rest of us - and the pictures are case in point.
After welcoming her first daughter Mia Grace in 2014, and her second daughter Lena Elizabeth in 2018, there's no denying the Tindall clan are a family we can easily relate to.
Never has this been more apparent when former rugby player Mike dropped a low-key announcement this week that he and Zara are expecting their third child together - via an offhand comment in his rugby podcast.
"It's been a good week for me," he revealed on the podcast The Good, The Bad & The Rugby.
Lo and behold, in March 2021, Mike revealed on his podcast that Zara had given birth to a baby boy - on their family home's bathroom floor, no less!
"Arrived very quickly. Didn't make it to hospital. On the bathroom floor. So yeah, it was running to the gym, get a mat, get into the bathroom, get the mat on the floor, towels down, brace, brace, brace," he told his stunned fellow hosts.
"Fortunately the midwife who was going to meet us at the hospital wasn't that far away so she drove up just as we had assumed the posit (position) and the second midwife arrived just after the head had arrived."
If that wasn't enough to prove they're the most down-to-earth royals, let's take a look at Zara and Mike's blissful family life
