“I had the pleasure of this woman’s company at the last Women’s Weekly luncheon so I told her get on that train and come to Sydney, we’re going to Bennelong!” Michelle joked.

When asked if her mother was one of the inspirational women, the Dancing With The Stars contestant revealed that there was “no question about it” but also mentioned another figure in her life.

Michelle tells The Weekly that “two women that played a very pivotal role” in her upbringing and foundations were her mother and grandmother.

“Not everybody has the perfect story that you read about in fairy tales, nobody has that,” Michelle confessed.

“But the benefit of having two really strong, influential, supportive and wise women in your corner as my mum, absolutely is and still is today, and my grandmother, was at the time, that’s gold.”
