Lisa Wilkinson and Georgie Gardner have reunited at the Australian Women's Weekly Women of the Future awards in Sydney today.
Hitting the red carpet and posing together, along with Lisa's daughter Billie, the pair spoke exclusively with Now to Love and shared some advice about what they'd tell their younger selves now.
"Be brave," Lisa, 58, said, "and surround yourself with wonderful and supportive people."
During the chat, she looked admiringly at Georgie, 48, and put her arm around her.
"I would just say, always trust your gut," Georgie said while agreeing with Lisa's sentiments.
The rare appearance together comes after Lisa's exit from the Today show.
Despite the competitive nature of the television industry, Lisa and Georgie have remained dear friends.
When it was announced that Georgie would be replacing Lisa as the host of the Today show, Lisa graciously shared her congratulations.
"Warmest congratulations to my friend @GeorgieG who has just been announced as the new co-host of @TheTodayShow. She will nail it," she tweeted at the time.
Georgie stunned in a purple dress ad black heels, but her look for the Women of the Future event also had a special message.
Peaking out from under her smooth blonde locks was a small band-aid, covering the wound from where she had two skin cancers removed. Alerting those on the red carpet to her patch, the journalist warned, "get your skin checked!"
The TV presenter took to Instagram on Thursday to tell fans she'd had two skin cancers removed, revealing stitches from the removal procedure across her hairline.
