Claire Foy has won an Emmy for her role as Queen Elizabeth in The Crown.
The actress, who won 'Outstanding Actress in a Drama' was clearly shocked by her win, saying "this wasn't meant to happen".
Beating out the favourite, Sandra Oh (who has the first woman of Asian descent to be nominated in this category), she humbly accepted the statue by thanking the other women in her category.

"I felt so proud to be in the company of extraordinary performances," she said. "I know everyone is talking about women in the industry, but if that's anything to go by 'bloody hell' - and that's technically not swearing," she said. "Sandra Oh - I just love ya!"
Claire then went on to say she had spent the two most "extraordinary" years of her life working on the hit show.
