The legendary Michael Jackson may be gone, but his legacy lives on in his three children.

It’s been seven years since the world said goodbye to the King of Pop, and on the day he would have celebrated his 58th birthday, his children Paris and Prince have something to say.

19-year-old Prince decided to remember his father with a sonnet that celebrates, not only the hitmaker’s iconic sound, but the “son, brother and father” he was behind it all.

“Happy birthday to the Man who was more than a legend,” Prince introduced on his Instagram account. “I love you.”

Prince’s younger sister Paris, 18, shared her brother’s sonnet, adding: “Love this.. proud of you big brother and happy birthday to the man that means more to us than anything and anyone ever could.”

The teen has paid tribute to her father many times over with decorative tattoos dedicated to the Thriller hitmaker.

Recently, she had the words “Queen of my heart” written down her wrist in his scrawl.

Explaining the personal meaning to her followers, she wrote: “To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart.”

Paris, Prince and 14-year-old Blanket lost their father in June 2009 after he suffered from cardiac arrest as a result of acute propofol and benzodiazepine intoxication.

Despite the tragic loss of their famous father, the legend’s children have flourished into wonderful young adults who are committed to keeping their father’s legacy alive.

Michael’s former body guard Yannick Allain revealed what it was like seeing Michael become a doting dad, “I gave him a hug to congratulate him and all I could remember noticing was the look on Michael’s face. The look of absolute pride.

“I had never seen him looking calm and yet so confident and happy without saying a word. At that moment I think I felt that kinship of manhood, that only comes from becoming a father. A wonderful moment.”

Michael adored his three gorgeous kids.
