For months Prince Harry has been out of the spotlight and in the African wilderness looking out for wildlife but during his time away he has reportedly romantically reconnected with his ex, Chelsy Davy.
Harry, who is set to celebrate his 31st birthday on September 15, met up with Chelsy, 29 while he was in Africa on a three-month tour working as a wildlife conservation volunteer.
The pair, who met in 2004 and dated for years several years, remained friendly after their final breakup in 2011, but now both are single after coming out of their respective relationships in the past 12 months.
Now the talk among royal spies is that the pair could be back on with their chemistry still sizzling.
“There is still very much something between them,” a source told the UK’s express. “Harry has never fallen out of love with Chelsy.”
Chelsy, who split from her society jeweller fiancé Charles Goode in January, is the one who reportedly ended her romance with the Prince shortly after the wedding of Prince William and Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton.
However Harry – whose last long-term romance was with aspiring actress Cressida Bonas – has said he is “happy not having a girlfriend”, but also that he is open to a serious relationship.
“It would be great to have someone else next to me to share the pressure,” he said in New Zealand in May. “But, you know, time will come and whatever happens, happens.”
