In a new initiative, the Aussie-turned-Danish royal has shown off her skills for the world to see – and in the perfect outfit, at that.

Shared in a video to the Danish Royal Family’s official Instagram account on Tuesday, Princess Mary got sporty for the launch of her new initiative via the Mary Foundation.

The project is aimed at gathering Danish people to play football in local communities while the country’s men’s team competes in the European Championships this month.

The European Football Championship is being held in Denmark for the very first time, so their team will host three home matches, sparking the idea to bring communities in the country together in celebration of the sport.

In the clip, Mary kicks around a soccer ball, doing high knees and mini sprints. Genuinely, her skills are impressive – who knew she was such a soccer muse!

Another thing we couldn’t help but notice was her outfit – in stark similarity to one of Duchess Catherine’s favourite outfits.

Yes, the Danish royal opted for a perfectly fitted red blazer over a plain white tee, paired with some fitted trousers and a pair of sport shoes.

It takes us back to just a week ago when we saw Duchess Catherine also opt for a similar silhouette while visiting Scotland.

During a visit to the University of St Andrews, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a jumper and navy blazer. She also wore a pair of Veja sneakers.
