Only two days ago, Princess Madeleine attended her brother Prince Carl’s wedding to Princess Sofia, positively glowing in a flowing pink dress that showcased her baby bump.

And now the Swedish Royal family have taken to Facebook to announce the Princess’s exciting news.

“The Marshal of the Realm is delighted to announce that HRH Princess Madeleine gave birth to a son on June 15 at 1.45pm. Both mother and child are in good health,” the statement read.

It’s a very exciting time for Sweden, who have now added two new members to their royal family in as many days.

It also means Princess Madeleine and her husband Christopher O’Neill will be raising two children under the age of two.

The couple introduced their first child, gorgeous Princess Leonore in February last year after they married on the 8th June 2013.

The 33-year-old Princess met 40-year-old financier Christopher in New York when she worked for the World Childhood Foundation.

After giving birth to their first child in the Big Apple, the growing brood moved back to Sweden, but recently announced that they will be raising their family in Chris’ Native London, where they’ll move at the end of the year.

Congratulations to the Princess and her Prince on their latest addition!
