Princess Charlene of Monaco is usually the one fighting back tears, but this time it was her husband’s turn to get emotional.
Prince Albert was left with tears rolling down his cheeks when wife Charlene shared a very personal love letter while the couple were on stage at the party to celebrate his 10th anniversary on the throne.
“Albert I was the Explorer, Rainier III was the Prince-Builder, and you are the Prince of Hearts, of my heart,” Charlene said.
“They told me you had a surprise for me today, but that …” Albert said, apparently lost for words.
The couple appear to be closer than ever after the birth of their twins last year.
Albert couldn’t hold back tears as his wife read a letter to him.
Usually Charlene is the emotional one, getting caught crying on camera many times.
Albert was celebrating 10 years on the throne.
The couple have seemed much closer since the birth of their twins in December.
