If your week was off to a bit of a slow start, it's about to get approximately 1000 times better.
In a reveal that's left us quite literally giddy with glee, Crown Princess Mary's brother-and-sister-in-law have just debuted a brand new family member... and it's quite frankly adorable.
Taking to their official Instagram account, the Danish royals shared their exciting new family update with three candid new pictures of the royals posing with their new family addition - an adorable little fur baby!
Indeed the new pup was revealed to belong to Prince Joachim and Princess Marie, with the pictures receiving hundreds of likes on Instagram within minutes.
The caption read: "Over the summer, D.K.H. Prince Joachim and Princess Marie got a new dog."
"It is a bichon frieze of Danish descent and the name is Cerise."
The royal account explained Cerise means 'cherry' in Danish, a special name which carries on a family tradition of naming their dogs after fruit.
The caption explained the family had a former dog named 'Apple'.
The adorable snow-white pup is utterly adorable, and generated plenty of admirers in the comments.
Many commented with numerous heart emojis, while others wrote that the new dog was "so cute".
We can't help but agree - look at its adorable little face!
The Danish royals share two children, Prince Henrik and Princess Athena, while Joachim also has two kids from his first marriage to Alexandra Christina, Prince Nikolai and Prince Felix.
Undoubtedly, Crown Princess Mary's family of four children along with husband Crown Prince Frederik will also be keen to spend some time doting over the new family addition.
The former Tasmanian's family also have some pets of their own - in 2017, they welcomed adorable new pup Grace, a border collie.
Grace was a very special addition to the family because she was from the same family as the family's former dog Ziggy, who sadly passed away earlier in 2017.
It seems the family love having pets around - Mary previously opened up to Hello! magazine about her family's morning ritual: "In the morning we make porridge, and all sit around the dining table. Then we talk and eat, while our dog Ziggy runs in and out. It's really cosy."
It certainly looks as though the royals have enjoyed a busy but enjoyable summer together.
In July, the family were pictured soaking up some sun at Gråsten Palace, located in Southern Denmark.
More photos showed the family of six partaking in some fun outdoor activities, including hiking and boating.
We're sure they've had plenty of cuddles with some of their furry friends in between too!
