Prince Albert, 57, and Princess Charlene, 37, were all smiles yesterday during the baptism of their five-month-old twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques. The event took place in the Cathedral of Monaco and it was outside this venue that the couple posed for photographs with their twins.
The twins were five-months-old to the day during their baptism as it was on the 10th of December 2014 that Princess Charlene gave birth to them.
The royal couple, who married in 2007, walked through the Palace square after the baptism and were greeted by well-wishing fans celebrating the momentous occassion. The event was televised on a giant screen on the Place du Palais as well to crowds of hundreds.
In the afternoon, a second ceremony took place where Prince Jacques was named named Grand Cross of the Order of Grimaldi and Princess Gabriella was named the Grand Officer of the Order of Grimaldi.
