On Monday, April 23rd, Prince William and Duchess Catherine took to the stairs of the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London to officially introduce the world to their third child.

Impressively, the royal couple’s short-lived appearance came just seven hours after the birth of their precious new bundle of joy.

Now a lip reader has revealed to the Mirror what the royal couple said to one another as they lovingly tended to their newborn while the global media watched on.

“Are you OK with him?” the Duke of Cambridge, 35, asked of his wife as she walked down the hospital steps in heels.

“Yes,” she replied with a smile.

They then prompted each other to wave in different directions, before Kate told her beloved husband: “It is a bit windy, he might get cold, let’s go now.”

“Sure,” William replied.

The new parents absolutely beamed as they showed off their new arrival.

The new parents share a sweet moment amid the crowds.

The look of love!

Despite having just given birth, Duchess Catherine looked flawless in a red dress with a white collar (strikingly similar to the dress Princess Diana wore after giving birth to Prince Harry) by Jenny Packham for the historic moment. Her go-to stylist, Natasha Archer, was presumably behind the ensemble as she was spotted leaving the prestigious hospital just one hour before the royal gave birth.

The 36-year-old royal pulled the look together with a pair of nude pumps (yep, just hours after birth!), her signature blow-dried tresses and natural makeup.

The post-birth look was reminiscent of the ensemble worn by her late mother-in-law Princess Diana after the birth of Prince Harry.

Meanwhile, the new royal baby was swaddled in what is thought to be the same beautiful blanket that his big brother and sister, [Prince George] and [Princess Charlotte], were wrapped in when they left the Lindo Wing for the first time.

The stunning shawl was made by GH Hurt and Sons in Nottinghamshire.

The birth was marked by bell ringing at Westminster Abbey, a 41-round gun salute in London’s Hyde Park at 2pm Tuesday local time and a 62-round salute at the Tower of London.

A huge congratulations once again to the royal couple on their beautiful baby!
