She’s only five weeks old, but Princess Charlotte’s outfits are already causing a stir.

Seconds after the first official portraits of Charlotte and her big brother Prince George hit social media on Sunday, the internet was awash with speculation about which label the little Princess was wearing.

After many conflicting reports, Hello! this morning confirmed Charlotte was dressed head-to-toe in Spanish brand Irulea, the same label that provided the clothing she left hospital in.

Demand for the little-known label has soared in the hours since the portraits were released, proving Charlotte is a chip off the old block – everything mum Kate wears sells out within minutes of her being snapped in it.

“We’ve seen a surge in sales and had an undeniable amount of interest for everything that’s made by hand, especially our newborn range,” shop owner Ayago Villar said.

“We’ve had orders from abroad – we’re seeing a massive repercussion on an international scale. A lot of people have asked for copies of Princess Charlotte’s clothes so we’re making more. Everyone’s delighted really.”

In the latest snaps, Charlotte is wearing a handmade white jumper, a chemise with a ruffled collar and a pair of matching tights, which cost approximately $340.

George is wearing Amaia Kids Blue France knee high socks with a Rachel Riley cotton shirt and baby blue shorts. Both are available as sets which sell for approximately $150 each.

William and Kate’s Spanish nanny is believed to have introduced the brand, which is based in San Sebastian, to the family.

The adorable snaps were taken by Kate, who is a budding photographer.
