Sporty Kate given approval for tennis court relocation

After requesting permission from the council, Kate has finally been granted permission to re-lay her tennis court.

After submitting her proposal to the council, reports have revealed Duchess Kate has been granted permission to have her Amner Hall tennis court moved 36ft.

The plans have been released on the King’s Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council website, which shows that the royal couple has been given the go ahead to re-lay their tennis court.

According to the proposal, Wills and Kate wanted to relocate the existing court because it had fallen into “disrepair” and was unfit to play on.

The new location, just 36 feet away, will “improve the views” from their ten-bedroom mansion and will have “no significant impact” on the landscape, with the exception of 10 trees that will have be either dug up or relocated.

And it should come as no surprise that Kate and Wills are so dedicated to their tennis court, the royal duo are known for being exceptionally sporty.

The Duchess is an accomplished rower, a competent sailor, a keen tennis player, a certified deep sea driver, and has tried her hand at a number of other sports, including cricket, table tennis, volleyball, hockey, basketball and cycling.

Following the council’s approval, Kate can now commence her renovations on her personal tennis court.

And really – who would say no to a Duchess?

Kate and Wills are known for getting a little excited on previous Wimbledon outings. The usually prim and proper Kate let out a little shriek when a risky shot was played.

As for their trip in 2014, we can’t figure out who is more excited. Will?

… Or Kate?
