Royal wedding fever in Windsor hit fever pitch a few hours ago when Princess Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank arrived at the castle ahead of their nuptials tonight (Australia time).

The happy couple were pictured driving to Windsor Castle in one car, while the bride’s sister Princess Beatrice, who will be Eugenie’s maid of honour, was in another with her parents Prince Andrew and Sarah, Duchess of York. They were attending their final rehearsals at St George’s Chapel.

The photos of Eugenie show her with a great big smile, with her husband-to-be, also grinning, behind the wheel.

The second royal wedding of the year is taking place today at 11am, UK time (9pm Eastern Daylight Saving time in Australia). In Australia, the wedding will be televised on Channel 7, and network has released viewing details.

Just yesterday the palace released more details of the wedding including who was in the bridal party – and it was confirmed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will act as pageboy and bridesmaid. The royal littlies were apparently in attendance at the rehearsal yesterday.

The star-studded guest list has also been the talk of the town, with the Beckhams, Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Ellie Goulding and Elton John expected to have been invited. Robbie Williams is now expected to be a definite starter with his daughter Theodora confirmed as one of the little bridesmaids.

The event itself, which will run over two days and includes a Saturday “festival” in the grounds of the bride’s parents’ home Royal Lodge, is set to be a lavish affair, with experts predicting the overall cost will amount to a cool AUD $3.6 million.

This includes a $150,000 luxury marquee, as well as a $360,000 wedding dress.

Bring on the festivities!
