New photos have emerged from Prince Harry’s surprise trip to the US Super Bowl this weekend and they show a much lighter side of the royal than we’ve seen before.

Fans were amazed when they spotted the Duke of Sussex in the crowd at the big game on Sunday, accompanied by his cousin Princess Eugenie.

Photos of the royal duo sitting together and chatting sent the internet into overdrive, with many royal watchers surprised to see Eugenie in the US for the special visit.

Now more pictures have emerged from that day, the likes of which we’ve rarely seen before when it comes to members of the royal family.

Grammy-winning singer Mickey Guyton, who sang the American national anthem at the game, shared a rare snap with Harry after meeting him behind the scenes.

The photo shows her with her arm wrapped around the royal, who appears to be smiling under his face mask as he puts a friendly hand on her shoulder.

“I met Prince Harry. He was just lovely. I even curtsied in my track suit,” she captioned the photo when she shared it to Twitter on Tuesday.

Meanwhile the official Instagram page of the Los Angeles Rams, who won the big game, shared three photos of Harry admiring the team’s trophy inside the locker room.

Wearing a white t-shirt, dark blazer and a Rams cap, the 37-year-old royal smiled as he held the silver trophy and chatted with the team’s owner, Stan Kroenke.

Comedian and actor Cedric The Entertainer also shared a snap of him sharing a drink and a handshake with Harry during celebrations after the Rams’ win.

Harry was unmasked in the locker room photos, causing some fans to worry about possible COVID-19 infection after news that his father, Prince Charles, and step-mother, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall tested positive this week.

However, royal reporter Omid Scobie noted that “the NFL population is highly vaccinated compared to the general public” and all visitors at the game had to be fully vaccinated in order to attend.

As such, the risk of Harry contracting the virus in the team locker room is believed to be low, and he was spotted wearing a face mask in most of the other photos from the day.

Princess Eugenie also covered up with a mask and a cap during her day out with Harry, which comes just days after she celebrated her son August’s first birthday.

She and husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed August just over two years after they wed in 2018, and it’s believed she left her son at home with his dad while she travelled to the US.

Though some royal watchers are hoping to see more photos from her visit, especially pictures of her interacting with Harry and Meghan’s young children, it’s unlikely any will be released.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are notoriously private, especially when it comes to son Archie, two, and daughter Lilibet, one.
