Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have jumped aboard the millennial hype-train and raised us one more – with a podcast.

Yep, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have teamed up with Spotify to launch Archewell Audio, a very special podcast platform that will aim to highlight a range of different voices and perspectives.

The news comes after the pair’s Netflix partnership was also announced earlier this year – so yes, it does seem like Team Sussex is fronting the spotlight one streaming giant at a time.

In the preview clip for their new podcast, Harry and Meghan are heard sharing an interaction – which quite frankly is iconic.

Harry says, “Shall we start?” Before Meghan quickly replies, “No, say it because I think it sounds really nice with your accent.”

After introducing Archewell Radio, Meghan then discusses what the podcast will delve into.

“One of the things my husband and I have always talked about is our passion for meeting people and hearing their stories. And no matter what the story, they usually offer you an understanding of where someone else is coming from and at the same time remind you in some way of a story about yourself.”

Harry continued to explain: “And that’s what this project is all about, to bring forward different perspectives and voices that perhaps you haven’t heard before and find our common ground.

“When that happens, change really is possible,” he added.

Proving they’re the ultimate yin and yang duo, Meghan finished the explanation: “This is also a moment to celebrate kindness and compassion, something we saw in so many places this year, and which will underlie everything you hear from Archewell Audio.”

After stepping back as senior royals, the pair have been busy working on various new projects behind the scenes.

You can expect the first episode to be a “holiday special”, set for release later in December – it will delve into stories of hope and compassion from inspirational people as the world rings in a new year.

Back in September, the duo also announced their partnership with Netflix, their project of which has a similar aim – creating content that “informs, but also gives hope”.

“Our lives, both independent of each other and as a couple, have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit, of courage, resilience and the need for connection,” they shared in a statement at the time.

Harry and Meghan have also collaborated with Netflix, with their projects reportedly in the works.

Since stepping back as senior members of the royal family at the start of the year, Harry and Meghan have been busy working on their project, Archewell.

The foundation will act as an umbrella to all of their endeavours as they forge ahead in their new financially independent life outside of the royal family.

We can’t wait to see who they get on their podcast – Oprah or Obama anyone?
