Prince Harry has introduced fiancée Meghan Markle to the other special woman in his life: Tiggy Legge-Bourke.

Tiggy, the royal’s beloved childhood nanny, was hired by Prince Charles in 1993 after his split from Princess Diana. She caused a stir after referring to Harry and his brother Prince William as “my babies” and for puffing cigarettes near the two boys.

Nonetheless, the headline-grabbing nanny continued in the position and became a great source of comfort to the royal brothers following the untimely death of their mother in 1997. It’s understood Tiggy was with the young royals when the news of their mother’s death was broken to them at Balmoral Castle.

According to royal insiders, Harry carried out the introduction between Meghan and Tiggy after an official visit to Cardiff on Thursday.

“Harry couldn’t wait to introduce Meghan to Tiggy,” a source told The Sun. “She’s a very significant person in Harry’s life, almost like a mother-figure, as she looked after Harry when Princess Diana died.”

The insider further revealed that although Meghan and Tiggy are two very different women, they got on “famously.”

Despite a series of controversial headlines, Tiggy was a great source of comfort to Harry after the tragic loss of his mother.

Harry, 33, and Meghan, 36, recently became engaged over a roast chicken dinner at their home, Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace.

“It happened a few weeks ago, earlier this month, here at our cottage; just a standard typical night for us. Roasting a chicken… trying to roast a chicken,” Harry said of the private moment during an interview with BBC News broadcaster Mishal Husain.

“She didn’t even let me finish, she said ‘can I say yes, can I say yes?’ and then there were hugs and I had the ring in my finger and I was like can I — can I give you the ring? She goes — oh yes the ring.”

“It was a really nice moment, it was just the two of us and I think managed to catch her by surprise as well.”

Meghan added: “It was so sweet and natural and very romantic.”

The pair will tie the knot at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19.

When it comes to picking her wedding dress, Meghan has enlisted the help of her bestie/stylist Jessica Mulroney to help choose The One.

According to Good Morning America, the duchess-to-be has enjoyed a very successful session with Jessica at Kensington Palace recently.

They claim the Suits star flew out her BFF from Canada and put her up in the palace for four days as they worked through a treasure trove of options.

Meghan and Jessica Mulroney worked together on picking her wedding dress.

Royal reporter Omid Scobie told Good Morning America the former actress has indeed found her wedding dress.

“Sources tell me that Meghan Markle has officially picked a wedding dress designer and had her first fitting at Kensington Palace last week,” Omid also confirmed on Twitter.

“BFF and bridal expert Jessica Mulroney is guiding Meghan though the process and quietly flew in to London on Jan 10, spending four days at the couple’s Nottingham Cottage home,” he added.

“I’m told that they went through a number of options with the designer and Meghan was “incredibly excited” to see things start coming together.”

“Jessica, who is an accomplished fashion advisor and bridal stylist, has helped piece together a number of Meghan’s most recent looks (including her iconic engagement announcement outfit). She is also helping with several other wedding day elements,” Omid explained.
