Prince George made headlines around the world earlier this week when he waved to excited crowds at Trooping the Colour — you can see all those cute pictures here— and now he has done it again, winning over fans at a charity polo match yesterday.
The adorable one-year-old was hand in hand with mum, The Duchess of Cambridge, while he watched dad, Prince William, and uncle, Prince Harry, compete in the polo at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire.
The Duchess, 33, had to steer George away from the polo mallets and balls, and keep the troublesome toddler out of too much mischief as he got very excited watching the action unfold around him . George’s younger sister, Charlotte, now one-month-old, was not brought along, allowing Kate to be extra attentive to George as he pointed and clapped at his father and uncle playing polo.
Other members of the British Royal Family, including Zara Phillips and husband Mike Tindall, were also in attendance, as well as Prince Charles.
Tim Keyte, executive polo manager of the nearby Cirencester Polo Park, told the Telegraph, William and Harry have a lot in common with their father when it comes to the polo.
“Harry has got his own style. He’s more of a fighter, someone who gets in there and gets his hands dirty. William is more calculated, a lot like his father,” he said.
We wonder what type of player gorgeous George will turn out to be, if he will be one at all!
