William and Catherine's adorable kids, George and Charlotte, will be joining their parents.

The countdown is on for the Cambridge’s first official family trip, and as Wills and Kate prepare for their highly-anticipated royal tour of Canada, we take a look at the key part their kids will play.

It’s set to be a busy week for Prince William and Duchess Catherine, who will attend over 30 engagements, but while it’s all work for mum and dad, little Charlotte and her big brother will enjoy more time to play.

The pint-sized royals are set to attend a children’s party on Thursday September 29. The celebration, held in the honour of military families, is scheduled to take place in the morning at Government House in Victoria, British Columbia.

The royal family will call the picturesque residence home throughout the entirety of their stay in Canada, with the exception of one evening where the parents will stay in Yukon without their little ones.

The party has no doubt caused somewhat of a buzz with royal spotters, who simply cannot wait to see how George and Charlotte interact with other children.

Of course, no one could forget the lasting impression little George made back in 2014 when he visited a playgroup in New Zealand on his first royal tour.

Back then, the world marveled over such a rare and candid moment between the third-in-line for the throne and other children alike.

Hopefully, little Georgie won’t make anyone cry this time, unlike the previous occasion where he snatched a little girl’s wooden doll!

Following the one-hour party, the family will enjoy some quality time together in private. From there on, royal watchers will see a lot less less of the mini royals.

Queen Elizabeth’s beloved great grand-children will spend a large portion of their time in Government House with their nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, while their parents see to around 30 different engagements, meeting hundreds of locals.

The Cambridges and their 12 member entourage will touch down in Victoria on Saturday afternoon, September 24.
