Remembering Princess Diana 19 years after her tragic death

She was known as "The People's Princess" and her legacy still lives on with her sons, Princes William and Harry.

August 31 marks 19 years since Diana, Princess of Wales, was tragically killed in a Paris car crash in 1997. Had she lived, the People's Princess would have turned 55 this year.
Diana was beloved by millions around the world and sorely missed by her two sons, Princes William and Harry. In the years since her tragic death, Diana's boys have grown into magnificent men who have never forgotten their mum - William even giving his new daughter, Princess Charlotte, Diana as a middle name.
To honour the late royal we have put together this collection of photographs to celebrate Diana's wonderful life.
