The leader of UK political party UKIP, Henry Bolton, is facing fresh calls for resignation from his role after his girlfriend, Jo Marney, made extremely offensive and racist comments about Prince Harry’s fiancee, Meghan Markle.

The Daily Mail exposed a text message conversation between the 25-year-old glamour model and a friend, in which Jo texted, as a “black American” Meghan would “taint” the Royal Family “with her seed.”

This news comes after Henery faced pressure to resign from his position following a scandal in which the 54-year-old left his wife to be with Jo Marney.

Jo also referred to Meghan as a “dumb little actress no one has heard of” and a “wet as a scrubber.”

She continued to make appalling comments about ethnic minorities including comments like,”This is Britain. Not Africa.”

The Mail on Sunday published a statement from Jo, who explains that her comments had been taken out of context.

“I apologise unreservedly for the shocking language I used. The opinions I expressed were deliberately exaggerated in order to make a point and have, to an extent, been taken out of context. Yet I fully recognise the offence they have caused.

“No offence was intended and, again, I apologise unreservedly for any such offence or hurt that my messages have caused to members of the public, members of Ukip my friends, family and loved ones.

“I have disappointed them all and let myself down. I cannot sufficiently express my regret and sadness at having done so.”

Jo’s UKIP membership has since been suspended and there has been no word of comment from the Royal Family on the incident.
