Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan left many reeling in the wake of their shock decision to step back as senior members of the royal family.
On paper, it seemed as though the pair were choosing to step back from the limelight and away from the public eye (a feat that left many of us in despair – no more Meghan Markle fashion fixes?!).
But it seems the Sussexes have plenty of work to be getting on with that’ll keep them at the forefront of our attention – no matter what their royal status is.
Not to worry, we’ve got plenty more Harry and Meghan appearances to look forward to!
(Getty)Over the weekend, the final logistics around the pair’s transition into a financially independent life, while stepping back as senior royal family members was confirmed.
On the Sussex Royal website, the couple issued a lengthy statement pertaining to their “spring transition”, which will see them step back formally as of March 31.
But between now and then, we’ve got an entire month – and with that, brings several enticing events that we’ll have the opportunity to see both Meghan and Harry attend.
Surprisingly, said royal engagements set out for them over the next few weeks are also rather poignant in their own right, and they certainly suggest what could be in store when the pair set out on their new path from April 1.
Harry and Meghan are forging an independent path ahead, but there’s a couple of loose ends to tie up before they do so.
(Getty)February 28: Harry to attend Invictus Games Choir recording session
The Duke of Sussex formally kick-started the Invictus Games in his role as a royal, however, it’s clear the event goes a lot deeper than that for the 35-year-old.
Harry will return to the UK from his current base in Canada to attend a recording session ahead of the 2020 Invictus Games (which will be held in the Netherlands in May).
The session will include an entire choir and none other than famed singer Jon Bon Jovi.
Although Harry’s attendance would likely have been arranged no matter his royal status, it all but confirms that the Prince will continue his work with the games beyond his life as a senior royal family member.
We personally can’t wait to see if the Prince makes a singing cameo!

Prince Harry and Meghan are set to make a glitzy appearance at the annual Endeavour Fund Awards on March 5.
The pair attended the event last year when Meghan was heavily pregnant with baby Archie, and this year’s red carpeted event will likely be just as good – if not better!
Wearing a Givenchy white shirt with a black Givenchy pencil skirt, the Duchess was glowing at the 2019 event.
We personally can’t wait to see what heavenly ensemble she’ll undoubtedly piece together this time around!
Harry and Meghan will mark their second year in a row attending the annual Endeavour Fund Awards.

On March 6, Harry will again step out in public to attend the official opening of the Silverstone Experience.
The immersive museum focuses on the history of British motor racing, and its opening will include special guest Lewis Hamilton.
March 7: Harry and Meghan to attend the Mountbatten Music Festival
Held at the Royal Albert Hall, Harry and Meghan are set to attend the Mountbatten Music Festival on March 7.
Once again, we can expect to see the Duke and Duchess don their glad rags for the evening event.
It’ll also be a special moment for the pair – the event will include royal marines showcasing their musicianship and pageantry.
Given Harry’s involvement in the army and his ongoing support for veterans, we’re sure this will be a night to remember.
Harry and Meghan will attend an evening of music at the Royal Albert Hall on March 7.
March 8: Meghan to attend an engagement to mark International Women’s Day
Ever the champion of empowering causes, particularly for women, Meghan will be making a public appearance to mark International Women’s Day on March 8.
While no further details are known as yet, it’s likely the Duchess’ appearance will shine a light on women’s rights in today’s society.
Last year, a heavily pregnant Meghan partook in a panel discussion, where she spoke candidly on the topic – so we’ll no doubt see something similar this time around.

March 9: Meghan and Harry to attend Commonwealth Day Service
If this is their final engagements as senior royals, the Sussexes will certainly be going out with a bang.
The pair are set to make an appearance alongside other senior members of the royal family, including Duchess Catherine and Prince William at the annual event held in Westminster Abbey.
It’ll be a particularly poignant event for the royals given its connection to the Commonwealth, with the British Monarchy at the forefront of each and every country a part of it.
This also may mark the final time we see the Fab Four together in their senior royal capacity.
We’re not sure we’re ready for this!
