Meghan Markle is just a couple of months away from bringing another beautiful royal baby into the world, and now some specific details about exactly how she will give birth have started to emerge.

Meghan has reportedly been working with a doula, often referred to as a “birth companion”, a non-medical assistant who provides emotional and physical support to an expectant mother during pregnancy, labor and immediately post-birth.

Doulas are not medical professionals and cannot administer or prescribe medication.

Some doulas also provide post-partum support, assisting new mothers with breastfeeding, washing and dressing their baby.

“Meghan is focused on calm and positive energy around the birth — she’s a big believer in that,” a source told Us Weekly.

The source also told the magazine that Prince Harry “is doing everything he can to make sure Meghan’s comfortable and happy.”

The royal couple are “racing against time” to ensure their new home at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor is ready in time for the baby’s arrival.

The former staff’s quarters is currently undergoing extensive renovations in preparation for the new royal family.

Meghan has big plans for her new 10-bedroom home, with the Duchess reportedly adding a gym, yoga studio and gender-neutral nursery decorated with non-toxic, vegan paint.

But the source told US Weekly the renovations have hit a little road bump.

“The one thing that’s holding up some of the work is the eco/energy center at the heart of Frogmore Cottage,” the source said.

“It was important for Harry to reduce their carbon footprint as much as possible.”

According to the source, Harry and Meghan want their new home to be “city meets country — lots of muted tones, plush accents and unique pieces from around the world.”

After it emerged last week that The Queen was gifting the couple some art from her Royal Art Collection, the source confirmed that the furniture and artwork given to them by Her Majesty “will be on loan to them indefinitely.”

As anyone who has attempted a renovation knows, it can be an incredible difficult and stressful time.

But the Us Weekly source said Harry and Meghan are “calm” and “happy to go with the flow.”
