Duchess Meghan has only just moved into a shiny new mansion, but already, we’re catching a glimpse of the digs in new and delightfully unexpected ways.

The Duchess of Sussex’s next pubic appearance has been revealed for the world to prepare for – and yes, it involves a couch party from her very living room.

Announced by the inspiring organisation, When We All Vote, the Duchess will join a panel of empowering voices in a virtual event aimed at encouraging women to vote.

The event will coincide with the centenary of the 19th Amendment – a feat which gave women the right to vote in the US back in 1920.

Meghan will be joining the organisation’s board chair Valerie Jarrett along with the editor-in-chief of Glamour, Samantha Barry as well as activist Yvette Nicole Brown.

We’re about to see more of the interior to Duchess Meghan’s new mansion.

In an official Tweet, the organisation explained: “We are SO excited to announce that Sparkles Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex Sparkles is joining the #WhenAllWomenVote Couch Party”

The reactions were punchy.

“Yassss, our girl is moving in high circles,” wrote one.

“Excellent news! So very proud of Meghan for continuing to use her voice to encourage others to vote because it’s the main tool we have to create substantial and positive change in society,” another added.

The event, which will take place on Thursday afternoon in the US (Friday morning in Australia) will be a celebration of woman of colour who have continued to fight to make the 19th Amendment a reality for all women across the US – including those in marginalised communities.

The Duchess has been outspoken on her passion for women’s voting rights.

Speaking to Marie Claire US earlier this month, she spoke of her own inspiration behind the cause – referencing a Kiwi icon to boot.

“One of my favourite quotes, and one that my husband and I have referred to often, is from Kate Sheppard, a leader in the suffragist movement in New Zealand, who said, ‘Do not think your single vote does not matter much. The rain that refreshes that parched ground is made up of single drops.’ That is why I vote.”

Meghan is deeply passionate about women’s rights.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Meghan make a virtual appearance of late.

Earlier in August, she appeared from her home for The 19th* Represents virtual summit.

The organisation also works to empower and enrich the lives of females across the world, something Meghan spoke happily about from her couch.

The Duchess was glowing in a chic orange shirt by Hugo Boss – a look we couldn’t help but recreate via our own online shopping research.

The Duke and Duchess purchased their new Santa Barbara pad back in June.

According to reports, it has nine bedrooms, 16 bathrooms, tennis courts and a home gym.

While we’ll likely only see the couch again for this new appearance, one can certainly dream of how beautifully set-up Meghan has made the rest of its interior.

Oh to be a fly on the wall…
