As the world counts down to their first official appearance at the Invictus Games this weekend, Meghan Markle’s big brother Thomas Markle Jr has issued a not-so-subtle message to his potential brother-in-law, urging Prince Harry to get a move on and lock his sister down.

Speaking in a new interview on DailyMailTV, the 51-year-old from Grants Pass, Oregon weighed in on his half-sister’s world-famous romance.
“I hope Prince Harry proposes. She’s a hot commodity right now – he better get on it,” he explained.
“I do have a sense of pride in Meghan being successful. It was just obvious from day one that she was destined to be somewhere really big.”
Recent reports claim the Suits star is undergoing a rapid induction into the Royal Family, dubbed Operation Princess but according to Tom, who shares father Tom Markle with Meghan, she’s already fit for the role.
“She’s always been a princess. She’s carried herself on that level from day one,” he revealed to DailyMailTV.

“She’s always been a princess. She’s carried herself on that level from day one,” Tom explained.
Thomas also weighed in on his sibling Samantha Grant, penning a tell-all book about their “pushy princess” half-sister.
“She’s going to find a way to bring the spotlight into her lap whether she has to talk bad about the entire family or Meghan or whoever,” he said of the upcoming book, apparently called The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.
“She’s been this way — very negative against the whole entire family — since everybody can remember.”
“She’s battered this whole Meghan thing since day one and she’s obviously doing this for her little flash in the pan fame and fortune. Telling the whole world about her pushy princess sister, which is just horrible [and] not even true.”
Tom says his arrest at the start of the year was a misunderstanding with his girlfriend.
As for how he would best describe the Markle clan, Thomas sums it up when he says it’s a “cross between Married With Children and Dexter probably. Let’s see, probably the Dukes of Hazzard and the Simpsons vs. the royal family.
Tom made headlines in January following an arrest after a drunken fight saw him allegedly threaten his girlfriend with a gun.
In an emotional and exclusive chat with Woman’s Day just days after he was released on bail, Tom fought back tears as he explained he’s desperately sorry for his actions, and hoped his sister and Harry would be able to forgive him
“Meghan’s relationship with Harry has been going from strength to strength, and this drama is the last thing I wanted to happen,” Tom said.
“I want to tell my sister that I’m truly sorry from the bottom of my heart.”
Something tells us this latest rogue interview may not bode well for landing those coveted wedding invites.
