As August comes to a close, so does Duchess Catherine and Prince William’s holiday in Balmoral, it appears.

The royal pair were spotted with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis arriving at Norwich airport on Tuesday afternoon after departing Aberdeen airport in Scotland, according to The Mirror.

The family of five arrived in Balmoral last week having flown via a commercial plane – and it looks like the same went for their return trip back home.

In pictures obtained by The Mirror, the family were seen exiting the aircraft at 3.26pm.

Duchess Catherine looked gorgeous in a moss green ensemble with her hair tied up in a bun as she held Prince Louis, while Princess Charlotte looked chipper in a summer dress as she held her mum’s hand.

Prince William and Prince George were seen following close behind the pair, with Wills holding a large overnight bag of belongings.

The family looked like they had a fantastic time up in Balmoral, with both Kate and William pictured on Sunday attending church alongside the Queen.

Following them closely behind were none other than Prince Charles, Duchess Camilla, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Princess Anne, and her son Peter and his wife Autumn Philips.

The royals travelled to the Queens routine Sunday Church service by car.

With a wide expanse of countryside on their doorstep, it is understood members of the royal family engage in a number of fun outdoorsy activities during their stays in Scotland.

Horse riding, hiking and plenty of cups of tea and cake would no doubt go down a treat as they enjoy their time in the UK countryside.

And we can’t blame them for enjoying some time off while they can, because September is already looking to be a jam packed-month for the royals.

The Queen and members of the royal family have visited Balmoral each summer for years.

Next week, we’re likely to see a number of royal family members back in action as they return to their official duties in London.

On Thursday, Princess Charlotte is set to have her very first day at school.

She will attend Thomas’ Battersea, which is located near the family’s Kensington Palace home. The school is also attended by Prince George.

Princess Charlotte will be starting at the same school her big brother George also attends.

Earlier this week it was revealed Charlotte is “so excited” about starting at the school.

“She can’t wait to be with George at big school,” a source told PEOPLE.

Meanwhile, dad Prince William also has a busy week ahead.

On Friday, September 6 the dad-of-three will visit Hendon Football Club in Kingsbury, London where he will learn more about the club’s mental health outreach programmes.

This will coincide with his work on the Heads Up campaign, which helps to support people suffering from mental health issues.

We’re excited to see more photos of the royals in action next week!
