Duchess Catherine now finds the art of nailing a Zoom call old hat, it seems.
Indeed, as 2020 wore on (quite literally) and as 2021 begins, the Duchess has shown no signs of slowing down as she brings her elaborate work to the forefront of the world… from her own living room.
On Friday morning, Kensington Palace released footage of the royal’s latest Zoom call with several teachers rom Ribbon Academy in County Durham.
As patron of Place2Be, a charity working to improve children’s mental health in schools, the Duchess spoke one-on-one with teachers about the important work they have been doing for their students throughout the pandemic.
The conversation came in line with Children’s Mental Health Week, currently taking place in the UK.
During the call, Kate praised their work as “fantastic”, and described the teachers as a “lifeline” to parents.
Kate’s message was a personal one given how she herself has been homeschooling her children Princess Charlotte and Prince George under the guidance of their own London-based school, Thomas’ Battersea.
Kate spoke to several teachers, thanking them for their efforts in supporting children throughout the pandemic.

“Thank you for the hard work you do on a day-to-day basis for the children that you look after.”
And it seems her words are truly sincere as she continues to remain in lockdown at her family’s country home, Anmer Hall.
While we hope the lockdown can soon ease as the COVID-19 vaccine rolls out across the country, one thing is certain – there’s plenty of working from home fashion inspiration to be taken from Kate.
Silver linings, one might say.
