Is there anything more precious than introducing your newborn for the first time?

In the aftermath of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcoming their second child – a daughter named Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor – the world is counting down for that all-important first family photo.

While we don’t know exactly when the Sussexes will drop the first snap of Lilibet, who was born on June 4, there’s no denying just how special a moment it is when the world is introduced to a royal newborn for the first time.

From the beautiful first introductions of Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to the heartwarming times Princess Diana showed Prince William and Prince Harry to the world, these stunning snaps will go down in history.

We also revisit some of our favourite Danish and British royals, including Princess Mary and Duchess Sarah when they showed us their beautiful newborns.

In 2019, beaming first-time parents Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan introduced their son Archie at Windsor Castle with a brief photo call. We can’t wait to see how they do it this time around with Lilibet.

Prince William and Duchess Catherine’s third child, Prince Louis, was debuted to the world at just seven hours old as his proud new parents celebrated their newest family member on the steps of the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s hospital, London, on the 23rd of April 2018.

In February this year and in the midst of the UK’s strict lockdown, Princess Eugenie shared the first photos of her baby son August, who she shares with husband Jack Brooksbank, telling fans: “We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. 💙💙💙⁣”



She explained that the gorgeous images had been captured by her midwife, who was visiting them for a routine checkup.
