Couples that dress together…

The Duchess of Cambridge has reportedly ordered the stylist responsible for her chic attire, Natasha Archer, to update Prince William’s admittedly outdated apparel.

Some might have noticed the father-of-two’s refreshingly dapper look throughout the Cambridges recent tour of Canada, and according to a report from The Daily Mail, Kate and her well-dressed pal are to be thanked.

It would seem that Natasha couldn’t wait to get stuck into Wills’ makeover which, of course, began with a purge.

Wills is looking significantly more dapper in form fitting attire.

The style adviser knows a thing or two about creating iconic looks!

According to the reports, the first items to go were his trusty brown loafers and worn-out Asics trainers, and quick to follow these on their way to the charity shop were his go-to pair of chinos.

These items have since been replaced with tapered trousers, which hug the leg nicely and hem just above the ankle.

Worn with brown L.K. Bennett desert boots, the look is casual yet sophisticated and screams both Prince and working father-of-two.

The future-King will keep his formal look chic, and from now on will eschew double breasted suits, despite the style being his father’s favorite.

Natasha is responsible for putting together sell-out looks like this $1,800 Preen midi dress that she wore during the Canada tour.

The family’s tour of Canada also saw the 34-year-old in light linen jackets and sweaters from a collection of affordable, high street brands including , Jaeger and Reiss.

For formal occasions, we can expect Wills to eschew his old black suit and tie look, and instead don ensembles by Savile Row tailor Gieves & Hawkes, but none that are double breasted – much to his father’s dismay.

While it all sounds a little harsh to storm into the Duke of Cambridge’s royal chambers and start throwing away his tattered trainers, the publication assures that the spring refresher was performed tactfully.

The stylist, who was appointed to Duchess Catherine following her appointment in 2014, clearly knows a thing or two about dressing for royalty.

Of course, Natasha was responsible for the mother-of-two’s knockout Canada looks which included an Alexander McQueen dress, a Dolce & Gabbana frock and a Jenny Packham gown.
