The golden royal trio have been making waves for Children’s Mental Health Week… And they’re more than happy to campaign for the cause in their personal time.

Wills and Kate mixed up their date night by attending the Guild of Health Writers event at Chandos House in chilly London.

While it may have been “work” the 34-year-old still dazzled in her very first Oscar de la Renta outfit.

Dressed in a magenta peplum jacket and matching skirt, the mum-of-two was a vision. And you can bet hubby Wills scrubbed up well.

Stepping up to the plate, he donned a deep navy suit and purple tie that complimented his wife’s pretty luxury threads.

Wills was delighted to be with his wife…

And the stunning brunette wowed in Oscar de la Renta.

The couple’s outing, though filled with smiles, was for a very important cause.

Prince William took to the stage to speak about his hopes to normalise the subject of adult mental health and face head on the “appalling stain on our society” that suicide is the leading cause of death in men under 40.

“You may be wondering why Catherine, Harry and I got involved in this topic in the first place,” he said.

“Mental health is traditionally not a mainstream subject, after all.”

“For me personally, it was a gradual awakening over many years through work I’ve been privileged to witness with vulnerable young people – the homeless, the unemployed, those who are unable to fulfill their potential.”

Adding, “It was their openness about their mental health, their anxiety issues, their honesty about not coping, that made me realise that poor mental health was a major issue in our society, much greater than anyone cared to admit.”

Concluding, “It was an issue that needed addressing if we were to attempt to solve many other problems that trouble us.”

The royals have been actively doing their part to help remove the stigma surrounding mental health.

Removing the stigma surrounding mental health is what inspired Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s dad to join forces with wife Catherine and Prince Harry to create their Heads Together initiative.

The campaign has helped unite a host of British mental health charities.

Heads Together is currently sponsoring the 2017 London Marathon, which the royal trio hope will become known as the “mental health marathon”.
