Grandma Carole reveals details of Princess Charlotte’s first Christmas

What does little Princess Charlotte have in store for her first Christmas? Carole Middleton seems to know!

There’s just three weeks to go before December 25th, and it seems Wills and Kate are gearing up for their first as a family of four – according to Grandma Carole that is.

Carole Middleton, Kate’s mother, opened up about how Kate might be celebrating Charlotte’s first Christmas this year.

Writing for her column in Baby London, Carole revealed she will be urging Kate to “relax” this Christmas.

“Relax and enjoy baby’s first Christmas,” wrote Carole, “They won’t remember it, but you’ll have fond memories.”

But it won’t be all royal wishes and castles, Carole also divulged that this Christmas will be a crafty one for Charlotte and big brother, George.

“We’re all busy planning festive parties and get-togethers, but taking time to choose and make those all-important festive touches is a must,” said Carole, who hinted that a hand-made garland was on the festive horizon for the two little royals.

Carole will be investing her time this year in a “paper-and-string sew your own Christmas garland”, and will be getting “young helpers to personalize”.

But crafts might not be the only thing Charlotte and George get their hands stuck into this Christmas. Baking might also feature!

According to Carole, “all children love to bake”.

Carole and her family, husband Michael, and children, Pippa and James, are expected to join Duchess Catherine and the royal family at the Sandringham Estate again for Christmas this year.
