Sydney could be forgiven for thinking that royalty moved among them last week when Woman’s Day and Meghan Markle doppelganger Stephanie Murray took to the streets for a pre-royal wedding photo shoot.
Styled in outfits just like Meghan herself would wear, Stephanie literally stopped traffic. The celebrity lookalike admits she is surprised how often she is mistaken for the princess-to-be. The hysteria doesn’t stop there with Steph admitting that she has even had strangers asking for a picture or an autograph!
“It happens at least a few times a week and even though I don’t see the resemblance as much as others do, it is definitely very flattering,” Steph says.
“Ever since it was announced that Meghan was marrying Prince Harry, the comments and stares have become a lot more frequent.”
“The other day an old man came up to me and asked if I was excited for my wedding. He saw that I looked confused so he followed with, ‘aren’t you marrying the prince soon?’ It was such a cute and absolutely hilarious moment!”

Stephanie caused quite the stir as she walked around Sydney.
With Stephanie feeling the royal wedding fever so acutely, she has started thinking what she would like in her own prince charming. And the 28-year-old – who has been single for more than a year – hopes that the love of her life has all the same qualities as Prince Harry!
“I hope that the next person I date is very much like Harry,” the Lorna Jane manager from Canberra admits.
“He seems like the most the relaxed and down to earth bloke. He holds himself so well and he seems pretty normal considering the fact that he is so famous. He also has such a cheeky sense of humour and seems hilarious!
“I hope that the next person I date is very much like him!”

Interestingly, it’s not only his personality that Meghan’s doppelganger adores!
“I think he is so good looking,” Steph says with a cheeky grin. “If I saw him on the street, I would definitely turn my head. I would be happy to date or even marry anyone who looks similar to Prince Harry!”
