How to have the sex chat with your kids, according to Jada Pinkett Smith

'My grandmother taught me about self-pleasuring because she wanted me to know that that pleasure was from me... She taught me at 9!'

Having the 'sex talk' with your kids isn't exactly the easiest conversation to have – well, that is, if you don't take Jada Pinkett Smith's approach!

The 46-year-old mum-of-two has never shied away from talking about her sex life, and her latest comments directed at her daughter, Willow, 17, about self-exploration in her teenage years shines a new light on having this often-tricky talk with your kids.

"I think by your age, I gave myself multiples first," she revealed on her Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk alongside her mum, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, and Willow.

"Multiple orgasms. I was really into it at one point. Just because I was in an exploration state and I was abstaining from men."

Not only that, but during her sex-confessional with her mum and daughter, Jada went on to say that she may have taken her self-exploration a little too liberally.

"I actually think I went through kind of an addiction, too, with it. And then one day, I was like, 'Enough. You're having five orgasms a day'."

And it seems that as Jada passes her orgasm tales on to her own daughter, the actress stated that it was her own grandmother that schooled her on what "self-pleasuring" is.

"My grandmother taught me about self-pleasuring because she wanted me to know that that pleasure was from me," she continued.

"She didn't want me to fall into the hands of a man, and if he gave me pleasure, to think that that was him. And she taught me at 9!"

What do you make of Jada opening up about her own as a means of educating others? And that she learnt about self-pleasuring at 9 years old? Tell us by commenting on our Facebook page.
