The Masked Singer Australia is back for a new season in 2021 and has wrapped filming in Sydney - meaning it will be on our airwaves imminently.
The third season of the hit singing show was shot at Carriageworks in Eveleigh, an inner-city suburb of Sydney.
The location was a shakeup from previous seasons, which have been filmed at FOX Studios in Sydney and Docklands Studios in Melbourne.
Last year, the show continued filming at Docklands in Melbourne during the city's longest lockdown to date at the time.
Unfortunately, a Masked Singer dancer later tested positive to COVID-19 in August 2020, forcing many of the cast and crew into isolation.
It meant cast members like host Osher Günsberg, and judges Dannii Minogue, Jackie O, Dave Hughes and Urzila Carlson had to appear at the finale virtually as they isolated.
"They handled it really well. Channel Ten and [production company] Warner – everything they were doing in terms of hygiene and social distancing was amazing so it's just really unfortunate. And everyone is in good health who's affected," Masked Singer contestant Isaiah Firebrace told us at the time.
Channel Ten released a teaser for season three last week and it looks as entertaining as ever.
There's a baby, a fish with a mullet, a burrito, a piñata, a vampire and something known only as "Atlantis."
Osher Günsberg is set to return as this year's host, while Dannii will be joined by Urzila Carlson, Jackie O and Dave Hughes on the panel.
There won't be a live audience this season, instead opting for a virtual audience in line with current COVID-19 restrictions in Sydney.
As for any other changes to the format, we'll just have to wait and see what they are when the show airs sometime in September.
