Another big congratulations is in order for The Block‘s power couple, Josh Barker and Elyse Knowles, with the couple quietly confirming they’re engaged!
In very low-key Instagram post, fashion model and mum-to-be Elyse shared a photograph cradling her burgeoning bump with her left hand which was sporting a significant sparkling ring.
“17~1~2021 @joshy.barker,” Elyse simply captioned the pic hinting that fiancé Josh secretly popped the question on January 17th – weeks ago.
The post was immediately flooded with well wishes from the couple’s celebrity pals.
“Nawww.. congratulations ❤️❤️❤️,” fellow model Megan Gale wrote.
“Yah!!! 2021 is quite the year for the Knowles Barker clan 💗,” former E! News host Ksenja Lukich commented.
“The best!!! Congratulations love birds xx,” Rebecca Harding shared.
It’s a big year for the couple!
(Instagram)In an interview with Stellar magazine earlier this month, Elyse revealed marriage was far from her mind.
“I’m not really fussed about [a wedding]. The baby is the biggest commitment we need,” she told the publication.
“We don’t even think about that anymore. I’m not worried about it. I would rather put that money into family and our life all together. We know we love each other.”
The couple announced they’re expecting with a stunning photo shoot.

Josh and Elyse, who have been together for eight years, revealed the news via Instagram with a series of snaps from a stunning outback photoshoot showing off the 27-year-old’s baby bump.
“And then there were 3 #babybarker,” Elyse captioned her post.
“And then there were 3,” Elyse wrote.
(Instagram)Elyse and Josh won The Block in 2017 after the house they renovated sold at auction for a whopping $3.067 million and was famously purchased by Aussie comedian Dave Hughes.
Following their reality stint, the couple embarked on a sabbatical to Byron Bay and have started a building and design business together, J&E Projects.
Elyse has worked as a model for years, appearing in campaigns for brands such as Seafolly, before she became a Myer ambassador in 2018 following her time on The Block.
The couple took out the competition in 2017.
